**LABEL ANNOUNCEMENT – Blackhouse**
Please welcome the unmatched Hip-Hop machine that is JAMO GANG to Blackhouse Records.
Unbeknownst to most of the general public, Ras Kass, El Gant and J57 made it be known that the three were starting their own crew dubbed Jamo Gang.
The concept behind the trio and what they expected to achieve was always there since a circa 2015 recording session, however, it was until a little push from DJ Premier that the three officially formed the group — with an 8 track EP now on the way.
Not to be outdone, and Co-signed by DJ Premier, JAMO GANG — Ras Kass, El Gant and J57 — are busy carving out a space for itself among the Hip Hop elite, which shouldn’t be difficult considering the rap pedigree of all three.
After dropping “Here We Go Again,” the power trio is back with the creation of their debut EP, along with a brief video filmed at SpaceLAB Recording Studios in New York City, where part of the EP was recorded. Simply titled “This Is Jamo Gang,” the visual was shot by Rob Levy of Civil Productions.
With many standing behind the project (and when you hear it, you’ll know why), we here at Blackhouse are honored to announce that we will be handling the limited edition vinyl release of their upcoming record in its entirety, complete with some extra surprises.
