The south side of Chicago is pretty rough, especially Blue Island. It reeks of drunks, gun powder, crime, exhaust, and weed. For the sake of not confusing the reader, Chicago pedigrees NIGHTCAP wouldn’t have it any other way. When not making runs to Miskah’s Liquor Emporium and the infamous Harold’s Chicken Shack, these Blue Island locals are sawing through their set all over the Midwest, and writing/recording at what one would consider a prolific rate. Featuring ex-members of The Ridgelands and Scatterbox, these guys are bringing some heat, and it never sounded better.
We here at Blackhouse are proud to re-release their first full length self titled album. This rager drops on Tuesday, 2/11/2014 worldwide on a digital platform, as this was originally a small run of CD’s that barely saw the light of day outside of the Chicago area. The fact is, it seriously should have. Complete with new cover art and a big fat remastering, this is ready to go and we couldn’t be more proud of this one, as well as this band.
Stay tuned for more details in the next few days, including possibly an exclusive discounted midnight release on the BH Digital Store on 2/11 so you can score your copy before it hits Itunes, etc.
